@faried_manuel@AndyGoode10 Scotland has 2 pro teams. They managed for moments to compete against nation that has 5 pro teams and another league below that produces amazing players. It’s wonderful to be proud of your SA team, which is amazing, but wee Scotland punches above its weight.
@Stevo71Tate@afneil As an exile down here, I can assure you that most I know and talk with would welcome it. Not the governing class with access to the data you have quoted, granted, but they support and would welcome an independent Scotland.
@afneil Many commentators used to believe that a tacit revolution is necessary as a legal matter (correct). An Act of Parliament doesn’t really get you there, given the sovereignty of said Parliament. Tough for multiple generations, but maybe ok in the end.
@AndyGoode10 Two things can be true at the same time. Bath were beaten by the better team on the day. But, there were 2 head on head collisions that, from a spectator perspective, should have been looked at more closely (or an explanation given as to why they were not).
@RugbySaracens@Saracens@GlasgowWarriors Glasgow are a very well coached team. Sarries will be fine - just need to refine their attack, which looked ponderous and lacking confidence tonight.
@gino_coelh99623@URCOfficial@GlasgowWarriors@BlueBullsRugby I believe the gentleman is referring to some rather bad form from the SNP led government that allowed a male inmate into a womens’ jail on the basis of how they identified. Completely ignoring some sort of segregation. Nothing like that would ever occur in SA. Bad form.
@Glazgow@slatterywill Tough game. Lions. as a whole, struggled, for a good portion of the first half because the Ozzies dominated contact. Russell and Jamison had poor ball. Didn’t see Aki/Jones coalesce once. Hope Ringrose gets his deserved Lions cap next week.
@dcbeisbol@ROB_Robireland@ScotRugbyNews@HeraldSportScot@heraldscotland It’s difficult to see how a “new voice” suddenly improves the physicality, size, athleticism and genetics of our pack. Perhaps there is a better way to deploy them, but not sure someone who get 6 weeks a year with them does a better job.
@thistlerugbypod Finn acknowledged his was too loose for much of the match. Individual error/decision making; he’ll fix that for next week. Stick TH at 12, and I think they’ll be better.
