@mentorshipcnr Congratulations to the selected candidates. I didn’t get a response mail though, I have checked my spam and everything there is to check.
If you're looking for an experienced person, the first thing you want to know is if the person is actually competent enough for the job.
After this, you ask: How long have they been doing it?
Its not age/time before competence/skill.
While time would be a competitive advantage later on, what gets you im the room is your skill/talent/competence. Time would teach you a lot of things, mature you and give you wisdom. But only if you invest yourself: time, energy, resources to that one thing.
What does experience even mean? This guy is so good that he has insight, foresight and hindsight of this subject matter. He knows this better than anybody. He has the experience we are looking for.
So, looking at it, experience isn't really about the time you spent bearing a title or doing a thing. Its time INVESTED in a thing. The more time you invest, the more power you build.
You can't cheat time. You invest in time, and over time, your investment compounds and you're the richest in the room. Stop looking at accumulating time, or even boasting about your years and aeons of experience. What matters more is what you did with that time.
You were here for 3 months, what impact did you make? That's experience!
Called this man to rant because a customer frustrated me today and I was close to tears because I left the house with very low energy as I was purging and having ulcer crises. This customer insisted on having me attend to him in person and ended up not buying nor apologizing. Put a call through to rant to him, told him I’d order ride home, he said no I’m coming to pick you 🥺. All the way from redemption camp to Ikeja then my place. I love it here mehn
