20 idea method for first time entrepreneurs!
You are raising funding first time, building a business first time, hiring a team first time & taking risk of entrepreneurship first time.
Brainstorm and write down 20 ideas on how to solve, or begin to solve, this challenge. Repeating again write down 20 ideas to bust obstacles in your success.
The first thing you need to do is grab a piece of paper and a pen. Do not do this exercise digitally. No computers or phone; old way use pen & paper.
Most entrepreneurs run out of ideas after 4 or 5 items and have to work a lot harder to get total of 20 real solutions. Everything starts with a solution.
The first step is to formulate your question. Don’t be vague, make it as specific as possible.
For example, instead of asking ‘How can I increase my sales?’, ask ‘How can I double my sales in the next six months?’
By being specific, you are giving yourself a tighter brief. And tighter briefs lead to better ideas.
The second step is to write down twenty answers to this question. The first few will be so-so but as you continue your ideas will gradually improve.
Once you have the 20 ideas written down you are going to choose one (and only one) and then set about implementing it immediately. Even if you have multiple good ideas you can only choose the very best and then go about using it.
Often your last answer will be a brilliant one.
Entrepreneurs can use the 20-Idea Method just described above to move rapidly toward the achievement of their goals and the realization of their startup dream.
I’m not sure where this originated. I’ve heard about it from Earl Nightingale and Brain Tracy respectively.
The 20 idea method is just one method of using this great power within us. But it is one of the most effective ones.
Go ahead and try it now.

4 ways one can help the entrepreneurs.
1/ If you have capital, then invest in the budding entrepreneurs with money.
2/ If you do not have capital but you have time, experience and expertise then invest time in mentoring these startups
3/ If you don’t have capital or time either then help these entrepreneurs with recommendations by word of mouth to increase their business. Cheer them up.
4/ Lastly if you’re incapable giving capital, time or recommendation then just don’t troll or criticise an entrepreneur and spoil their efforts, hurt their dreams. One way to help is that Just stay out of their way.
