I am embracing the sacred and complex nature of womanhood, traversing each season of life wholeheartedly. It is beautiful and breathtaking and merciless.
do not bury love before it begins. do not look to the past more often than you live in the present. do not hide yourself from another when you have longed to be seen. let love in. once more. always once more. and try your best to believe that perhaps. love will eventually stay.
tread softly through your transformations. abandon resistance. brutalize nothing. master the art of alchemizing light. hold onto love when the world seems bereft of it.
ask yourself: who benefits from neglect? practice self care, whatever that looks like, and never apologize for feeling. complexity is human nature, and you have every right to own and express your experiences.
be gentle with yourself. be more forgiving. be compassionate. fall apart when you need to. don't rush to recenter. even when it pours, believe in your rainbow. believe in your worth. be a friend to yourself; kind, loving, supportive, uplifting and attentive.
your lessons and losses are not destinations; they are currents that lead to your highest self. take a deep breath if you are afraid. your time to blossom is comingโit will unfold in extraordinary time.
you are divine. you have a soul purpose that is deeply interwoven with your life mission and every experience, tragic or triumphant, serves to align you with your greater good.
and give back; always give back, and watch as your life flourishes. recall what it felt like to share a body with emptiness and rejoice. you never will again. for the first time, you are truly living.
love each other. lift each other. connection is often a sun illuminating darkness. be gentle and tender and ever attentive. let your heart become an irresistible invitation for what is genuine and fulfilling. remain open in this way even after you're full.
say it with me: every body is beautiful. every skin tone is divine. disabilities, skin conditions, disfigurement or scars do not reduce the value of a person.
judgment should not supersede acceptance. criticism should not supersede kindness. you are not here to wound the efforts of others or assume the illusion that you could live their journey in a superior way.
if you cannot muster more, forgive yourself. you are not a burden. you are not hopeless. your suffering is impermanent and it will take some time but you will eventually rise from this. you will rise stronger.
practice mercy. be soft with self-talk. remind yourself that there is no rushโwhat matters is another breathโanother moment; every second that you endure is a second that you are moving.
take care of yourself. rest when you need to. deeply breathe. connect with your senses. do not turn away from important soul work; be mindful of how involved you are with your healing.
