@ImmortalIndex just listened to this podcast on #Spotify for the forst time. I am hooked! Been trying to find actal #xiaxia and #wuxia for a long time now. Wnat ro get deeper into it. In this way, I can learn the genre better, and write better stories. Keep it up!
@webcomicchat Practice a lot. Even if youre just doing pencil and pen, practice. Also for the love of god, DRAW WITH YOUR SHOULDER! I personally like working with a 6B only (architect's drafting pencil) and a standing desk. Eventually, learn more tools. Also remember to take breaks and stretch
@webcomicchat Mistakes are far more glaring, epecially if your skill level is below others. Also, publishing work may take longer, depending on your skill, the medium, cost of materials, and the project. Undo button asside, having to pain of starting over is much harsher.
@webcomicchat As someone who has no choice but to go traditional, I guess the best way to phase it is that it feels more "real". I have a lot more control and can do unorthodox things to get the effects I want. Plus, while inmay be wrong, i think its less expensive and portable.
@webcomicchat Doing grayscale myself, actually. With some recent push from great works lime Lackadaisy Cats, the transition from different colors as a backdrop or the amazing "coffee stain art" it started as. I want to try it out so i can bring in the same kind of atmosphere!
Took about 30mins. Getting back into the grayscales. These are warm grays, anf this is a bit of what you can expect going forward. @ Connecticut https://t.co/khq2jWgzur
