@DUNKACHENO@5Canuckss Dobson was always going to command a higher AAV than Hronek because of his age. I’d argue Fil has higher value now than Dobson did then partly based on his “value” contract. Also, if Hronek is getting dealt Van won’t need to eat a bad deal to move him. Van does better elsewhere.
@RobTheHockeyGuy@gregprzada17 What’s not equal is that Demko and Lankinen play behind a team that has a HDSF% of 44.5 and Pittsburgh is 53.0. They’re not all equal.
@Zer0PucksGiven Conditional 1st for Kuemper to Avs, Freddy Andersen to TOR, Martin Jones to the Sharks, Ryan Miller to Blues, Cory Schneider to Devils, Varlamov to Colorado. All definitely starters at the time (Schneider would have been if not blocked by Lou).
@EastVan808@MikeBurin I get your point. This is not the easiest market to deal with in terms of media coverage. With social media players are more accessible than before but the media has always been the communication line between athletes and fans so you could argue he should be more available.
@FZaslavskiy@georgie_levy@RpsAgainstTrump “Some important foreign meeting like G20 or something” is on a slightly different level than licking vanilla ice cream at a golf course. I don’t think you’re good at analogies.
@CoachPerry59 You can say a lot about this management group but they’ll move off a mistake in a hurry if they have to. Just ask Lazar, Heinen, Desharnais, Mikheyev, Kuzmenko, and I’m sure there’s more. Suter was a fine player but he doesn’t move the needle and they need difference makers at C.
@CoachPerry59@mattsekeres Feels like if EP and Chytil go down no amount of Pius Suter is going to help them. I don’t love the Kane deal but it’s not like it cost them an opportunity to bag a real difference maker down the middle.
@DerekHolme1@SadClubCommish You're right - the President's job is to look out for the USA. But you're confusing Trump with someone who gives a shit about public service. Trump struggles to spell public service, let alone practice it.
@ChesterM222 I dunno. Petey has gone through flunks with other coaches. Same with Miller and Boeser. The only guy who has managed to avoid the flunk (or be able to bounce back from a mini one) is Hughes. And what does he do that the others don't? Skate. Sometimes it's just the players man.
