Today marks my 27th year walking around this planet for, here are the 27 most important lessons I’ve learned.

1) Time is limited. Be intentional with it.

2) Enjoy the little things. Nothing beats the first sip of coffee in the morning, or a midday nap.

3) You’re never to old to learn something new. Listen to podcasts, read good books.

4) Exercise is usually the best medicine. Do it daily

5) Be kind. No one knows what someone else is going through.

6) Take time to switch off. Not every day has to be 100%. It’s okay to rest.

7) Music makes everything better. Make the soundtrack to your life awesome.

8) Spend time with loved ones. You never know how much time you have.

9) Change is inevitable. Embrace it

10) You’re never too old to make new friends.

11) Don’t waste time being angry. People make mistakes.

12) Failure is inevitable. Fail fast, learn, grow and move on.

13) If it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no.

14) You only get one body. Take care of it.

15) Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Growth only comes outside of your comfort zone.

16) Set goals and do everything you can to smash them.

17) Life isn’t always fair but it usually works out okay.

18) Go for walks. There’s very few problems that can’t be solved through walking.

19) Build good habits. Success doesn’t come from once in a lifetime transformations.

20) Be loyal. Always look after your friends

21) Surround yourself with good people. Who you spend your time with matters.

22) Take risks. It might just pay off.

23) Appreciate the journey. Happiness usually comes from the journey, not the destination.

24) Let go of the past. All it does is hold you back.

25) Be present. Focus on what you can control now, the future takes care of itself.

26) It’s okay to not know everything. No one does. We’re all just pretty much making it up as we go.

27) Have fun. Life is there to be enjoyed.
