WATCH: Former U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, who was at the Kirk event, says he wants America to know that the last thing Charlie talked about was love and Jesus Christ.
Chaffetz was visibly broken...but said this was too important not to share.
“I want his wife and the country to know that the last question he took, the last thing he talked about to people in Utah—thousands of people that wanted to come hear him—is that his message was one of the love, of Jesus Christ, of his belief in prayer.”
“And he talked about that from his heart.”
“And you can feel it.”
No matter what happens today, remember...
You might not be able to control all of yours circumstance but you can control how you respond to them.
Pause. Look for the good. Trust in a bigger plan. Respond instead of react.
3 Things to Do Today:
1. Don't get caught in the comparison trap. Comparison is the thief of joy.
2. Focus on what you can control (your actions, effort, and attitude) and let go of the rest.
3. Be “The Seed” and make a difference where you are.
Thinking we can live an error free life is often a symptom of our pride. Our failures can actually be a source of Blessings… Humbling us and giving us empathy for other people in their times of weaknesses and challenges.
5 Things to Remember This Week:
1) You are stronger than they think.
2) Your heart is bigger than they know.
3) You have more in you than they can see.
4) Your positivity is greater than their negativity.
5) You are more powerful than their opinions.
It’s Monday and the world is a pot of boiling water.
You have 3 choices.
Be like the 🥕 and turn soft (sad, weak).
The 🥚 that turns hard (mad, mean)
The ☕️ bean that changes the water (positive).
The power is inside you, not in the events happening around you.
Be a coffee bean!
Sometimes it’s important to not try to make sense of it while you’re in it... Because sometimes it can get so hard you need to focus on surviving it and not trying to understand it until you get through it. ~ T.D Jakes
Heaven was ready, but our hearts were not. Griffin Howard, you were SO loved. I have peaceful moments knowing you are healed and in the arms of my God; however, most moments are painful and heavy. Rest peacefully, Griff; I’ll see you again one day.
Ships don’t sink because of water around them. Ships sink because of the water that gets in them. So, don’t let what happens around you get inside and weigh you down.
