#Punjab police restrict women’s presence at police stations after sunset, so police is admitting that police stations are not safe for women in Punjab. If a woman has to file complaint, she has to wait for next morning. A few years back, a police chief of Punjab said women should not travel after sunset after a motorway r*pe incident. Instead playing role in keeping society safe for women, #Punjab police is restricting #women’s mobility, it is restricting women’s access instead of making police stations gender sensitive & gender friendly spaces. And Punjab’s CM is a woman.
