@miles_pxgc Sometimes you might have to eat the loss but that's why I'd recommend sticking to ETFs with this strategy. Less idio, gaps are more manageable than single stocks and the VRP is usually clearly defined. Regardless, once you hedge with discipline you'll have +EV
@miles_pxgc I dont bother with other greeks apart from delta since it's the easiest to manage. Short straddles with dynamic delta hedging is a great consistent strategy. Just set a delta band so you're not continuously hedging every change
