I worked at a start up who offered us a personal chef, in-house gym, nap area, and a bar.. “unlimited pto” and NO 401k match.. and working until 4:30am in office .. most of these “perks” are just to get you in the door before they suck the life out of you.

I don’t think people realize that a lot of these “ridiculous” perks at major tech companies, aren’t ridiculous at all.

When you want the best of the best, you’ll do what needs to be done to attract and retain them.
