@Paul_Mach1@BIGsheep@Kev_Bayliss@David_Wise The character set for the legal page is single colour, so the copy to VRAM would be a different routine than for the 4 colour graphics in the main game. Different timings for those copies could mean that one works when the other doesn’t.
@sarahlane BC no friendly web links into https://t.co/qmD9jXjtdm? We’ve been burned once by a closed ecosystem, so why jump to another? Particularly one that doesn’t even allow web links to content. You have to sign up to see anything. Same goes for Hive.
The team @Raspberry_Pi seems to be setting a good example of how to do corporate Mastodon. They sponsored the project and then spun up their own custom instance instead of relying on the community to carry their brand.

I'm a fan of this!
@siracusa Rambus RAM was so slow and the CPU caches were tiny (4K code / 4K data). When I first read the hardware manual for the N64 about 6 months before anyone outside of SGI / Nintendo had dev kits I said that it would be horribly bus bound like the Amiga and so it turned out to be.
@BIGsheep@Paul_Mach1 The guy that worked on it was named Mark, but I’m blanking on his second name, which is terrible as he came from the same village as me and we went to the same primary school.
@jeriellsworth a very young looking Howard Phillips in his trademark bow tie at CES 1990 playing Solar Jetman with Tim, Chris and Joel from Rare looking on. Surely an interesting style of game to make for @tiltfive https://t.co/VUBNOKBKRj
