What grabbed her attention, however, was the tinging of the bell above the door. As she trimmed thorns off some of the roses, Sophie looked up.
The sight in front of her made a smile grow across her cheeks.

The reprieve from the heat was all she needed before being called in last minute. Her boss, a lovely 72 year old woman named Noreen, called in a last minute cover.
