New #NHL LTIR Playoff rule:
> Teams will only receive LTIR amount equal to prior season's Average League Salary (e.g. this year was something like ~$3.8m), unless player is definitely out for entirety of playoffs.
> Playoff salary cap will consist of 20 players in lineup. Rosters can be shuffled game-to-game.
One important part of the PWHL Player Salary Disclosure is that it will not be "public." Don't expect any (ethical) media to put it out there yet.
It's primarily for agents and players to advocate for fair compensation in negotiations.
Wonderful step forward #PWHL

@HockeyWomxn @DigDeepBSB@CapBesties@alyssastweeting @iyer_prashanth @LaForceMontreal@kevinraphael21 To nuance the focus on player salaries, etc., La Force will incur additional expenses by playing games across multiple communities in QC. As an expansion team, investing in grass roots now will help contribute to future increases in league revenue via sponsorship, merch, etc.
