The trunk of the old Weeping Ash Willow Tree, planted over 200 years ago in Didsbury Parsonage Gardens, was carved into the Green Man, by wood sculptor Andy Burgess, when it died, in September 2023 - 'The Green Man is believed to be an ancient symbol of life, death & rebirth'
