Even progressive, why waste space and use a super slow cd when you can just download it like us pc gamers been doing for years. Other than cosmetics or being a collector, I haven't really heard any good arguments

@SegaGirlAdventr @toyrattca @PlayStation Ehh, I haven't even owned a CD player in over 10 years, us pc gamers abandoned cds years ago. I really don't even know why these modern consoles waste space with cd compartments. Rather just download the game, faster load times compared to cd, less physical space needed.

@YorchTorchGames Whos gonna tell him that physical media is digital. Media, imagine all the room you would save if you just downloaded it to a hard drive. CDs is an old dying technology. But collectors love to collect, kinda cool brings back memories 20 years ago when I had cds too

@Chief936 @RohPtn Sony has great products, but usually too expensive for my purposes and interest. The no CD thing is a non issue for me. Haven't owned an old technology cd player in 10 years, always wondered why these new consoles waste physical space on a CD Drive of all things

@Elwood540 @RohPtn Ehh not really, there are solutions and hard drives are easily big enough and cheaper per data then it used to be, but I do have an IT background and pc gamer for years. CDs take way more space then a hardrive.

@RohPtn Haven't even owned a CD player in like 10 years. Us pc gamers don't care for that old technology, we just download it to our hard drives which is way faster, efficient and pretty much better in every way I can think of. Been doing it for years.

@SFproductions_1 Imagine how much Space you would have if you just downloaded all those games on a small SSD. But to stick up for you, some peaple are collectors of relics, I have met people who still rocking the VCR and some VCR tapes

Because I enjoy discussion and debate sometimes. This topic randomly is in my feed and I enjoy analyzing things and providing an opinion. I am an IT kinda guy. I imagine you yourself may enjoy providing an opinion for things that have nothing to do with you too sometimes. Also Im arguing to understand the other side, many times I learn by hearing out the complaint or less likely teach the other side. Besides that why we are all guilty of voicing our opinions on X

@LikeToBeBossy Yes you do, its just downloaded on my hardrive rather than collecting dust on a shelf and way faster to access then old and slow granny CD's. Its an old, going extinct technology that us pc gamers abandoned years ago. Someone lied to you saying you own nothing with digital

@JoshEakle I disagree, They seem to assimilated perfectly fine and even support, unlike potentially some other cultures
