This year’s winner is the 200 Caribbean Guilder note, issued by the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten.

Prezes NBP prof. Adam Glapiński gościł dzisiaj przedstawicieli Międzynarodowego Towarzystwa Banknotów (IBNS), którzy przekazali mu nagrodę dla banknotu kolekcjonerskiego „Tysiąclecie koronacji Bolesława Chrobrego" o nominale 20 zł, uznanego za Najlepszy Banknot Okolicznościowy 2025 r.
W konkursie zorganizowanym przez Międzynarodowe Towarzystwo Banknotów polski banknot rywalizował z emisjami banków centralnych https://t.co/SzPK5AUhaV. Turkmenistanu, Meksyku, Kazachstanu, Tajlandii, Botswany, Namibii, Papui-Nowej Gwinei oraz Sri Lanki.
W głosowaniu, które trwało od 15 do 29 grudnia 2025 r. kolekcjonerzy i pasjonaci z całego świata wybierali banknot, który uważają za najbardziej oryginalny i atrakcyjny. Banknot wyemitowany przez Narodowy Bank Polski zdobył największą liczbę głosów i został uznany za najlepszy na świecie w 2025 r.
Narodowy Bank Polski wprowadził do obiegu banknot „Tysiąclecie koronacji Bolesława Chrobrego" 5 listopada 2025 r. To kolejna emisja nawiązująca do milenium koronacji – wcześniej NBP upamiętnił to wydarzenie monetami kolekcjonerskimi.
