In my book, Losing My Widow Virginity, I discuss having sex for the first time after losing my husband of 39 years. The was a reawakening in myself but simultaneously a learning process as friends asked if I had unprotected sex. I most certainly wasn’t getting pregnant at my age but I wasn’t aware of the high rate of STIs in older adults. I delve into my new reality and how
I navigated sex in my sixties.

I’m attending the Kinsey Symposium in October on Sex as Aging as the more I learn the more I can help others.
