Which means around 60% is owned by other people.

Employees.
Engineers.
Early investors.
Pension funds.
Index funds.
Ordinary people through investment vehicles.

By logical deduction, Elon becoming extraordinarily wealthy required creating an even larger amount of wealth for everyone around him.

That is how capitalism works.

You do not become massively wealthy by making everyone else poorer.
You become massively wealthy by creating products, companies and systems that millions of people voluntarily support and invest in.

Thousands of SpaceX employees became millionaires.

Investors made fortunes.
Customers received better products.
Humanity got reusable rockets, global satellite internet and lower launch costs.

The people obsessed with “wealth inequality” almost never ask the more important question:

How much value was created for everyone else?
