Bill Maher: “I didn’t like it when Tom Hanks went on Saturday Night Live and did this sketch where he was wearing a MAGA hat and wouldn’t shake hands with a black person. Not helpful.”
Tim Alberta: “I disagree, I thought it was a great sketch.”

The Truth About Golf Fitness: What Works
Golf fitness is often filled with flashy trends and gimmicks that don’t deliver results. A quick online search will show you countless examples of exercises that look cool but barely make a difference in your game.
Here’s a straightforward framework for building an effective golf fitness program:
1. Build Strength
Focus on moderate to heavy lifts like squats, lunges, deadlifts, presses, and pulls. These foundational movements build the strength you need for a powerful swing.
2. Build Power
Use lighter weights and move fast! Incorporate jumps, med ball slams, med ball throws, and speed lifts to improve explosive power.
3. Train Speed
Improve your swing speed with tools like Superspeed, Stack, or ball and club. Speed is a skill, and practicing it will pay off.
4. Improve Mobility
Ensure you can move through a full range of motion, focusing on areas like your neck, shoulders, thoracic spine, and hips. This helps you swing freely.
Don’t get distracted by the “silly” exercises social media promotes. Stick to what’s proven to work and watch your performance on the course improve!
