I think extension users need to realize the importance of this info icon that we add to "User Profile" flags. There are two sides to this. If we chose to remove these borderline reasons from flags, we would get "false negative" complaints from users, the kind we used to constantly get in the past. If we chose to keep them, we get "false positive" complaints like this instead.

Ultimately it is one of those situations where you have to pick a side. We chose to keep these borderline cases so nothing slips through, and to give users full visibility into why each one was flagged.

We also have a popup that informs every new extension user, upon finding their first flag, that a flag should be treated as a signal. That's where critical thinking is supposed to come in. Judging by most of the complaints we get, that concept seems to be in short supply.

On top of that, we added the info popover specifically to avoid this kind of confusion. But screenshots like these strip all of that context out. That info icon is there for a reason (see image).

And yes, we do see cases where users put this kind of thing in their profile specifically to avoid getting flagged. It's a common pattern, especially among ERPers who throw "MDNI" and "follows Roblox TOS" into their bio as an attempt to evade detection. The pattern is pretty obvious once you've seen it enough.

That said, if you genuinely come across a "User Profile" flag without one of these stricter evaluation icons, then yes, that's a real false positive.

Hi. Not looking great for you.

For the record, here's what's actually on your flags so others know as well. You've used a custom condo client, our system has logged you inside condo games multiple separate times, you were in 4 condo groups (which you've since left), and you're in a long list of condo discord servers.

In some of these servers, you openly advertised "check my bio," and you asked staff to remove the 90-day account age requirement so you could get into a condo whitelist group.

So nope, none of what you wrote actually responds to any of this. You defended a single accidental game join while we're seeing repeated, deliberate participation, and quietly leaving the groups/servers after the fact does NOT undo any of it btw :)

You're free to take this defense back and delete it whenever you want. Just know we'll have noted that you posted it, and it'll count toward any appeal you decide to file properly through our website. But I think you know you're already pretty cooked so.... all the best!

But it seems like people would rather take the word of a content creator who was banned from the extension, whose story changed 6 times, over the actual evidence...

That said, confirmed users have been verified by humans, so those aren't false positives. The disagree button is disabled for them because there's no reason to downvote a verified case. Check with us before assuming 😔
