Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on Tuesday questioned the integrity of the sworn statement released by Curlee and Sarah Discaya during the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing on Monday, particularly their claim about the profits they allegedly earned from government contracts.

"Kung titingnan po natin, 2-3% of even a hundred a billion, 2-3 billion pesos lang ito," he initially said during the House infra committee hearing.

He then pointed out several inconsistencies in their statement. "Sabi nga po nila sa isang interview, 11 digits. So hindi bababa sa 10 billion. Nakita po natin isang jade lang sa office nila, 100 million na agad 'yon," he explained.

Sotto later questioned how they could afford such assets and a lavish lifestyle if their profit was only 2-3%.
