@MabelsDada @tedgioia Excellent piece for an unsung pioneer (& great person). Too many of these brilliant artists are being left behind by mediocre & lazy music journalists who have no clue but seem to enjoy vomiting out their expertise online left & right like it's the holy grail. Thx for this Ted!
@CTDOL How do you reach a human being in regards to issues of reporting for PUA? No one answers the phone and if the phone is answered, you are immediately hung up on. Awful. @GovNedLamont
Saxophonist Tom Scott is starting a new podcast. It's really good and worth a listen. He is previewing an episode on his website with @ericchurch who is an amazing country artist. Eric is also singing the Anthem at tomorrow's Super Bowl. #tomscott

We lost Lyle Mays early in 2020 (pre-pandemic). A new "official" site celebrating his legacy was just launched. A must see for those who enjoy his work as a solo artist or with the Pat Metheny Group. #lylemays

@zoom_us Need to record interviews at 1280x but am getting 640x using Pro service. I have set everything up as you dictate but my Zoom recordings are defaulting at 640x with enabled HD selected. Can you send me the solution?
@cole09608865@CTDOL@GovNedLamont@JoshGeballe I agree. What kind of moron builds a site and has NO email address for questions or any support for that matter? People can't wait weeks on end for a response (if any). This program is written like it 's 1995 by a tech geek who has never used a website before. Surreal!
@CTDOL The site is a failure. It's a blind site with absolutely NO help. Your instructions are ridiculous/too complex and the system is useless as of now. You need phone support to navigate simply to get the confirmation of one's claim. Awful and not ready for primetime.
@GovNedLamont Your PUA application process has a lot to be desired. It stinks. It is not clear and is confusing. You need to offer phone support to answer questions in regards to the application process. It is a blind process and frankly, during this time, it's a complete failure.
@NBCConnecticut The application process is totally confusing and there is NO assistance from the state if you have a question applying. A big fail! Terrible.
@JeremyDGoodwin @natechinen Not meant to be nasty. Great artists are dying and suffering in every genre as a result of this situation. This reality is not exclusive to jazz is what I am saying hence no need to single out jazz as taking the brunt, etc.
@natechinen @JeremyDGoodwin Jeremy, you're absolutely correct. ALL working musicians are suffering badly now. And as much as I admire jazz & its artists, I'm baffled by those who feel it's any different than any other style of music/artists suffering. Jazz arrogance is not productive.
