If BLS fails to approve within/by the expected time mid-January, then initiate e-visa minimum 4 days before your departure.

@DrSJaishankar please resume E-visa services for Canadians. You claim suspension of visa services was due to threats to Indian Officials processing visas but with E-visa everything can be done online. It doesn’t make sense to not resume E-visa services. People are desperate.
