Dr. Conner was recently elected Vice President of @wildlifesociety! A member for 35 years, Dr. Conner has served a variety of roles, including Southeastern Section Representative, and was named a TWS fellow in 2014.

While many of our native groundcover species are blooming beautifully, the butterfly weed (Asclepias tuberosa) stands out brilliantly in the landscape. Its bright colors and knack for nectar production attract pollinators, like this zebra swallowtail (Eurytides marcellus)! π¦
