The Journey Neighbourhood Centre welcomes our newest staff member Fantasia Meredith. In Fantasia’s role as Community Network Lead, she will be responsible for building capacity , developing leadership and offering events and programs relevant to our community’s needs.

The first person I remember fighting for the rights of women in sports was Justine Blainey. Her landmark court case in '86 opened the door for girls to play hockey on boys teams. This took incredible courage + strength. Respect to Justine.
