Baan flying!!! Sensational round of 8-under par 62 by @anirbangolf to take solo lead in the @TheHKOpen! That included six birdies on his back nine.

Super start by @aditigolf in BMW Ladies Championship on @LPGA. She is tied 8th after a 3-under par round.

Just how important is the Hero Indian Open?

Let's just say two of the most amazing careers in recent times belong to players who have won recently: Eugenio Chacarra and Alex Fitzpatrick.

Both have become unstoppable forces in world golf. This can happen to an Indian too.

Received such a lovely call from Saptak’s dad for this article. It’s moments like these which make all our work feel so important.

@SaptakTalwar’s homecoming last week, and his winning the @pgtofindia Order of Merit, had shades of Homer’s Odysseus.

Chacarra has jumped from 309th in the OWGR before the 2025 Hero Indian Open to 39th this week.

Fitzpatrick climbed from 196th to No59.

The career acceleration is as impressive as that of a Hero Mavrick 440!!

“As we strengthen our global partnership with the DP World Tour, we see an opportunity to take this journey further - connecting Indian golf more closely with the world and bringing new perspectives, possibilities, and audiences to the game.”

...helping it grow into a tournament of international standing. More than a celebration of world-class golf, it has become a platform where Indian talent can test itself against the best and earn its place on the global stage.

[Saptak Talwar @SaptakTalwar]

Individual accolades are never truly individual. Without the timely guidance from all those mentioned here, I don’t think I become the player I am today!
Thankyou Joy sir for capturing the journey so well! 🙏🏻

CONFIRMED... @DP_World has announced that the DP World India C'ship is here to stay until 2035.

This is a massive show of support and faith from the Dubai-based global logistics company to India- its second-largest market - and to Indian golf.

Here is how @SaptakTalwar can be denied the @pgtofindia Order of Merit title...

Only Om Prakash Chouhan can do that. Saptak leads by INR4575483 ($48,159). With 25% of the purse counting towards the OoM, Chouhan must make more than $192,636 to go past, or a tied fourth place.

Six-time major winner Sir Nick Faldo fears the art of course management and classical ball-striking is being lost as pros bomb drives beyond 350 yards. His prescription? Rein in the power, bring skill back to the fore.

Kapil Dev, President of @pgtofindia, said: “We will do everything in our power to enable our players to get maximum playing opportunities on the international stage.”

@Amandeepjohl, CEO of the Tour, added: “This has already been approved and the players have been informed."

[Joy Chakravarty @TheJoyofGolf]

Without a doubt, this is the biggest announcement in Indian professional golf this week.

At the DP World India Champ'ship, the @pgtofindia has unveiled its Player Support Programme, under which it will fund any player in the top-30 of the Order of Merit for Qualifying Schools...

...events across the globe.

Players will receive INR3 lakh (appx $3,160) to play in the QSchools, and INR10 lakh ($10,525) if they qualify.

QSchools are costly affairs, and this provide financial relief to the players and encourage them to aim for other international Tours.
