China spent 20-30 years building a silent economic empire around the world…

And now President Trump is flying into Beijing to start dismantling parts of it in front of the entire world.

Most people think this China visit is about diplomacy.

They’re missing the real game completely.

This isn’t a “peace summit.”
It’s a pressure summit.

And President Trump is walking into Beijing from the strongest negotiating position the U.S. has had against China in years.

Why?

Because since January 2025, the administration has systematically attacked the pillars of China’s global leverage:

→ Massive tariffs designed to force supply chain relocation
→ Semiconductor restrictions choking China’s AI and military-civil fusion ambitions
→ Rare earth diversification to break Beijing’s monopoly weapon
→ Investment restrictions blocking Chinese penetration into strategic U.S. sectors
→ LNG and oil expansion strengthening American energy dominance
→ Indo-Pacific friend-shoring to reduce dependency on Chinese manufacturing

Most people only look at tariffs.

That’s surface level.

The real strategy is much bigger:

President Trump’s team is trying to dismantle China’s ability to economically coerce the world.

And then came the Iran conflict.

This changed everything.

When Iranian oil infrastructure and Strait of Hormuz traffic became unstable earlier this year up till now, China suddenly faced a brutal reality:

Its economy is still highly vulnerable to external energy shocks.

That matters because China imports enormous amounts of oil, and Iran has been one of Beijing’s key pressure valves against Western influence.

So now President Trump arrives in Beijing with leverage on multiple fronts at once:

Trade leverage.
Technology leverage.
Energy leverage.
Supply chain leverage.
Geopolitical leverage.

That’s why this visit matters.

Watch for what comes next:

• Increased Chinese purchases of American energy and agriculture
• Pressure campaigns around fentanyl precursors
• Negotiations tied to rare earth exports
• AI and chip access being used as bargaining tools
• Quiet pressure on Beijing regarding Iran and Russia

This is not America begging China for stability.

This is the United States forcing China to negotiate inside an American-designed framework.

And whether people like President Trump or not, one thing is becoming very difficult to deny:

The era of passive U.S. foreign policy is over.

We are watching the return of hard-power economics in real time.

Most headlines will talk about “diplomacy.”

The real story is the restructuring of global leverage.

And the scary part?

Most people still don’t fully grasp how deep this economic war already is.

The next generation better start learning geopolitics fast. The world being built right now will determine who controls trade, energy, technology, food, shipping lanes, AI, and global finance for the next 30 years.

This day (May 12) in 1948: Arabs Force Water Rationing on Starving Jewish Jerusalem — After Cutting the Supply for Over a Month to force 90,000-10,000 Jews Into Submission or Death.

As the world screams that Israel “creates famine” & “cuts off water” in Gaza (redefining words to demonize the Jewish state), history records who actually used food and water as weapons of war — the Arabs against the Jews of Jerusalem, with zero mercy.

Just two days before Israel declared independence, Jewish defenders in Jerusalem had no choice but to impose harsh water rationing. The main pipeline had been cut for over a month. The April 8 sabotage at Ras el-Ain (see article) was only the beginning — by early May the supply was completely severed. Only ancient cisterns remained, and they were running dry.

The ration on May 12: just two gallons (7.5 liters) per person per day for everything — drinking, cooking, bathing, laundry, sanitation. Only four pints (~2 liters) for actual drinking. People stood in endless lines for their single pail. Fights broke out. The dead sometimes lay in the streets.

This was deliberate. Arab forces had already cut the only highway from Tel Aviv, ambushed every relief convoy, and shelled Jewish neighborhoods without pause. Their goal: strangle the city and starve its 90,000–100,000 Jews into surrender, death, or expulsion. When Jerusalem radio broadcast mallow-leaf recipes (donkey and cattle food), Radio Amman mocked them — proof the Jews were breaking.

The Jews survived through raw heroism:

- Ancient cisterns became lifelines;

- Residents foraged mallow from fields;

- A secret nightly cable car (“Avshalom Route”) smuggled food and evacuated wounded across the Valley of Hinnom; and

- The legendary Burma Road was built under fire to break the siege.

But the horror continued. The Old City Jewish Quarter — home to generations of families — fell on May 28 after weeks of artillery, street fighting, and starvation. The last 1,500–1,600 Jews (including 300 women and children) surrendered emaciated. Men, including elderly rabbis, were sent to Jordanian POW camps. Women and children were expelled with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Then came full ethnic cleansing. Roughly 40,000 Jews — every last one in East Jerusalem and Judea & Samaria — were driven out by the Jordanians. For the first time in 1,000 years, not a single Jew remained in the Jewish Quarter.

The Jordanians boasted: “Not a single building remains intact. This makes the Jews’ return impossible.”

For 19 years — the only time in Jerusalem’s 3,000-year history the city was ever divided — the Jordanians destroyed 58 synagogues (some turned into stables), desecrated the 2,500-year-old Mount of Olives cemetery (tombstones used for paving and latrines), built a hotel over graves, and turned the Western Wall into a slum. Barbed wire, mines, and snipers completed the divide.

This was the real starvation siege. The real water cutoff. The real ethnic cleansing at the birth of Israel.

Every accusation is a confession.

The same side that tried to starve Jewish Jerusalem to death in 1948 now projects those crimes onto Israel with new definitions and fresh outrage.

The Jews didn’t break. They held the line, built roads under fire, and reunited the city after the 1967 Six Day War.

In 2014, Nicholas Kristof had to write a humiliating blog post titled “When Sources May Have Lied.”

He admitted he’d spent years promoting Somaly Mam’s graphic “trafficked-as-a-child” horror story, only to discover she had apparently fabricated much of it.

Kristof conceded he got played, added editor’s notes to his old columns, and said he wished he’d never written about her.

Fast-forward to today, and he’s publishing an article based on interviews with 14 Palestinians claiming Israeli guards raped them with batons, carrots, and even dogs. They offer no corroborating evidence.

Any chance they’re lying or exaggerating? Kristof responds that “To me that seems far-fetched.”

But back in 2014, he wrote “We journalists often rely to a considerable extent on people to tell the truth…. We’re less suspicious if someone claims something stigmatizing, like being trafficked into a brothel.”

Except this time, the alleged victims are claiming sexual abuse in Israeli prisons — the furthest thing from stigmatizing in elite media circles.

In fact, it’s a golden ticket to instant sympathetic coverage in the New York Times, global headlines, and virtually no risk of being called a liar.

The man got burned by unverified trauma porn once, and now he seems eager to do it again to satisfy his insatiable lust for fictitious Israeli atrocities.
