It’s been a month since I started my DataCamp journey. This was made possible by the scholarship from DevCareer. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow.
In this month I have earned 30,735 XP, completed 8courses & aced 369 exercises. @dev_careers@DataCamp@codenney
Sometimes in life you make mistakes you can't undo. Sad to tell you all that @Bethanyliterary and I are getting a divorce. She filed divorce papers to me today.
To get it out of the way so there are no questions, yes, I am with @DuchessOfDeFi.
Asides the agenda, cussing and all.
Don't you people genuinely want your own person?
Your companion?
Someone you can talk to and you smile?
Will you be on twitter at 60 hating on women/men?
I really hope you know you can't do life alone .
One of the strangest phenomenon I witnessed was at Hallam. I saw PhD holders who decided to stay behind at Sheffield to earn salaries below a certain tax bracket rather than go to London. They didn't want to work harder only to pay more taxes and have similar income. Privilege.
noticing the small ways i’m changing as i get older is one of the coolest things i’ve ever experienced, what a blessing it is to grow up little by little
In UNIBEN I never had to assume that everyone was normal and I could do whatever I liked. I never had to assume cultists would be reasonable or that I have right to walk around Ekosodin anytime I liked. I avoided anywhere and anything that would make me chop slap. In fact, my life generally, I avoid anything that leads to violence.
I believe everyone should have capacity for violence but at same time, do your best to avoid being the victim. Even when gun touched me, I had to be calm to go with my life because being safe is better than being right. You cannot see something escalating to violence with a potential to hurt you and you want to prove your right.
All you people do here is admonish people to talk to violent people not to be violent as if you live in Disney World. How many dangerous people have you spoken to in real life in time of grave danger?
You talk about emotional intelligence when it involves lying to people to make them feel good but you cant use it to protect yourself? It is common sense to weigh the fight or enemy or danger in front of you and protect yourself. You'll be right tomorrow. Live first.
