This thread isn’t about encouraging anyone to drink, it’s simply a travel tip for anyone visiting Morocco.
Small details like this can make a big difference when you’re planning a trip.
What travel tip caught you completely off guard in another country?
Before you travel to Morocco 🇲🇦, here’s something most people don’t tell you about alcohol.
One of the biggest surprises I had in Morocco wasn’t the food, the trains, or even the desert.
It was how alcohol works.

None of this made my trip any less enjoyable.
It was simply different from what I was used to, and knowing it in advance would have saved me some confusion.
Whether you drink alcohol or not is completely your choice.
@Theoladeledada If anyone copies and pastes my content, trust me, I’ll sue you. I travel with my hard-earned money and post my content, and you lift it? Lol, you’ll get served.
I put a lot of effort into my YouTube content.

The only time I can keep a Snapchat streak with my friends is when I’m on a trip; after that, we fall back to zero 😂.
Anyway, I’m currently sending tons of snaps to them because I’m on a trip 🥳💃🎉.
This taught me that sometimes you just have to do the thing. Show up, be a little uncomfortable, and trust that you’ll be fine. The freedom on the other side of fear is so worth it.
Ran in a whole different country a few days ago
I traveled with @sapphirewehmie who makes it a point to run in every new country she visits, and honestly… I was skeptical at first. I kept thinking, “what will people say?” “what if we look weird?” Especially not being in my own
Country.
And yes, people stared 😂 but somewhere between the stares and the miles, I realized something: most of the limits we feel are the ones we create in our own heads.
I’m so glad I did it. So glad I didn’t let fear of judgment stop me from experiencing something new.
So I’m currently reviewing this HMO for seniors (55-85+), and they’re charging in USD, but they list the coverage in Naira (like Eye care up to N40,000). It’s okay to list your services or products in USD for Nigerians, but those coverages should also be in USD, not Naira. WTH?
Why do banks charge for a transaction that ultimately doesn't go through? Yet, they still have the nerve to charge me for reversing it. Make it make sense, I make a transaction that doesn't clear for days, you charge me, then you reverse my money and charge me again. Why?
I used to enjoy posting monthly updates on my Instagram, but for almost a year now, it doesn’t excite me like it used to. Not because I haven’t been doing exciting things, but I honestly don’t know why.
Love that you’re raising awareness around this.
I and my partner @olugbode_tolu are building something really exciting that speaks to this.
We are building a vacation and active lifestyle (mini) city in kobape Abeokuta to complement the tourism heritage of the city with more exciting activities suited for both local and international tourism.
It’s @2seasonsabk and the project is currently sitting on 84 acres.
Been meaning to reach out, perhaps we could set up a chat to discuss more about it, you’d really love the project.
Two things every traveler should be grateful for:
Being picked up at the airport by family or friends and food waiting because someone thought of you before you arrived.
If you have this, you are loved.
