In this season, maybe more than ever, my faith is required.
“But there are some things you cannot be sure of. You must take a chance.” -Ecclesiastes 11:4 (ERV)
So for Heart’s Day, I bought flowers - a lot of flowers.🌸🌺💐
Not for one person, but for my community. In light of Love Month, I was given the opportunity to sponsor flower arrangements in my church. Very grateful for this avenue to love others in this way.
May He be praised!
Sometimes you get a phone call in the middle of the night and realize how small your problems really are.
“Lord, I am grateful for everyone you bring into my life and celebrate the lives of those you call back home. It is well with my soul.” 🕊️
Today, my dad reminded me to slow down:
“Anak, dahil hindi ka nga tamad, as in you’re not lazy at all… actively recognize when to rest.”
*that really hit home
Met with my mentor today. Few takeaways were:
- Be kind to yourself
- ‘Common grace’ is available for all, but remain steadfast to Acts 4:12
- Compassion drives urgency

“Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles, it only takes away today’s peace.”
Picked this up early this year and taking the same mindset with me to 2023.
Drafting my 2023 goals today.
“Lord, while I continue to aspire for goals that I think would benefit me & those around me, may I continue to pursue You daily. Give me the courage to do better always and may You be glorified in the work of my hands.”
Tbh it bothers me how my IG feed is all about the places I have traveled to. I am grateful for the opportunity to visit those places… but I should really celebrate the daily/other things too, not just the trips I take occasionally.
