The recent hype around AI “replacing” WordPress reminds me of the Joomla vs. WordPress era. Back then, endless comparisons created panic and convinced many that Joomla was finished.

We ignored the noise, kept building, and JoomShaper is still here in 2026, continuing to make an impact.

The web will evolve. AI will change how we build websites. User behavior will change too. But people will keep building websites, and I believe WordPress will remain one of the biggest platforms powering the web for years to come.

Sometimes, the loudest narrative isn’t the one that lasts.
