@DavidColborne May be one of the dumbest pieces I read lately. Comparing Tesla to a recession era defunct truck company is silly at best. You failed to explain what Nevada gave them, if it was a tax break on equipment, that would be nothing since you have to pay taxes to get them abated.
@bobfulkerson @JennyBrekhus Again, you Sheila L and other radical lefts make up what ever facts you choose. The GOED site details what incentives are provided. Most companies do not get incentives . The majority are getting an abatement on manufacturing taxes - A tax that 38 other states don't have!
@bobfulkerson @JennyBrekhus Bob
These are TMWA facts, not mine - Guess we are in a world where anyone can make up whatever facts they want to support their distorted view of reality?
How does giving a company a tax break (paying less in taxes) in the north impact the south? They are still in the state paying much more taxes than if they instead had choose Texas and their suppliers, and employees are now paying taxes. Such an uneducated perspective!
@brianduggan@PaulMcKenzie4@NvDornan David Schmidt, chief economist for the DETER, told the forum overall, "things are going very well in the state right now." He said Nevada has added 263,000 jobs since the bottom of the recession ...and advanced manufacturing including Tesla and construction are the main drivers.
