@heymrsbond In my phonetic transcription class we discussed whether ‘caught’ and ‘cot’ are homophones depending on regional accent. For instance, in the South, they are. Interestingly it was dependent on the accent of the transcriber, not the speaker, that affected the transcription.

To see shooting after shooting and the knee jerk reaction to be “not my fault, not my problem” is unacceptable. If your viewpoint is that it’s the prosecution, go after that. If it’s mental health, go after that. DO SOMETHING. Other than point fingers.
