@samplett@BillTufts A guaranteed basic income that requires income isn’t a guarantee anymore.
Accidentally helping people who don’t need help is better than accidentally not helping someone who actually needs it.

There are no tax credits, rebates, nor reductions that can make up for the global hyper inflation we have.
@hiebzky I’m part of the team that helps set that radical left agenda and I can confirm that we are 100% cool with women and moms.
In fact, the agenda is always set in full consultation with women and moms, and whichever groups may have a stake in the decision.
@hiebzky As an Arts Council board member, I’m so very proud of our staff, our community, and everyone involved. Thanks for renewing my faith in humanity!!
@hiebzky It was uplifting to see all the supporters and so few protesters. Seems the protesters don’t have the strength of their convictions, but the supporters had boundless love and compassion.
@hiebzky @carriejsheppard The event was a HUGE success. 6 or so protesters relegated to a back street who stayed in their cars. They tried to park on the parking lot, but got escorted off. We stayed through the cold for the entire event, they came late, left early and could not dampen our enthusiasm.
@hiebzky @DrobotChris @CandiceBergenMP There are at least 3 people running for the nomination. Two are scary. The third is the current Morden-Winkler MLA.
@1ProudCdn Basically all rural ridings deserve better.
And thanks!! I appreciate the support.
My best guess is that the provincial MLA will win the nomination to be the candidate federally (he’s already put his name forward).
Not sure who will replace him provincially though.
@1ProudCdn Agreed! My team was fantastic and determined. I had a conversation with a federal party organizer today. It’s very encouraging to gain traction here. There is a clear need, and people know that the system is broken.
