Bought my son a cinnamon sugar shaker with lid. Now we do math.

From today's menu: rice and chickpeas, green beans, and ground beef. We usually make extra chickpeas and freeze them for later. It's a simple habit that works well with other beans too. 🍽️ 🫛✨

@TestKitchen Adding sea salt on top before baking makes a huge difference! ✨

Fresh coconut, oats, and honey turned into today's cookies. Coconut is such a treasure. I couldn't help thinking of Tom Hanks in Cast Away while baking them. 🥥🍯🐝

Ginger freezes really well. Peel it, chop it, and store it in the freezer so it's always ready to use. It's a great addition to all kinds of dishes, from sweet treats to savory meals and even Asian-inspired recipes! 🫚✨

Ginger cookies are a great idea if you'd like to try something different. Ginger is a very versatile ingredient and can be used in all kinds of dishes. These cookies were our first attempt, and they turned out really good. Highly recommended! 🍪✨✅

Chicken tacos are always a good choice for lunch or dinner and they're really easy to make: Mexican tortillas filled with beans and shredded, seasoned chicken. You can also add tomato, lettuce and cheese on top. 🌮🍅🧀

One baking detail that makes a difference: eggs beaten with sugar often need 3 to 8 minutes with an electric mixer. The exact time depends on the recipe, the number of eggs, and the mixer speed! 🍰✨

I’m a fan of healthy alternatives. Last night, we made a zucchini and chicken lasagna with mozzarella between the layers and a crispy panko-Parmesan topping. Delicious! 🍃👌🏻

We keep our glasses organized by category in the cupboard. It makes everything easier to find when we need it. Not everything needs to be on display. 🍷🍸✨

As for pesto with celery leaves, the younger and more tender the celery leaves, the better they work. The darker outer leaves can sometimes be stronger and slightly bitter.

One of my favorite kitchen habits is finding uses for ingredients that often get overlooked. Celery leaves make a surprisingly flavorful pesto! 🍃🍝

[Veronica Sabrese @Veronic00630093]

Celery leaves alchemised into Pesto! Using just the usual suspects of lemon juice & zest, garlic, almonds and EVO. It worked a treat and I didn't put the farmer's hard work to waste. Feeling almost smug 😱😂! #veggies #foodwaste #farmshop
