is #ethereum being clogged on purpose? It certainly looks that way. Thousands upon thousands of transactions being conducted by unknown coins spending 150 Gwei (~ $6) to transfer 1 Token. And have thousands of these queued up. And getting consistent large ETH deposits!

And made several other comments after the fact. We really need to address the fact that it does not take any effort at all to clog the network. I think a general gas limitation or subscription would help a lot!

Random thought. With POS coming up, could we not enable free transfers? Allowing people to move currency / tokens around without cost would be a massive win for #ethereum - it would be nice to see miners offering subscription services also. @VitalikButerin - what do you think?

#ethereum time to fix this - airdrops and ico's can completely take over the network.. we can not build services on a network that is prone to these sort of "attacks" that slow everyone down.

For clarification, I am meaning a basic transfer (amount and to who), without data etc. It could be that the POS miners are required to process these without cost to be part of the network. I am sure there is a lot more to consider.
