@Whotfismick I went back to 1970, before outsourcing manufacturing, and couldn't find hoodie costs, but I did find leisure suits (comparable fad for the time) cost ~$30. That's $240 today, so doesn't put $120 sweatshirts TOO out there.

@Whotfismick The avg cost of shirts have actually deflated since 1997 (https://t.co/sfcFp18gyt) due to factors like overseas labor and less QA.

But there's also a movement for locally made, higher quality, longer lasting clothes. All those factors have inflated over the past 30 years

I actually okay with platform fees being shown to the user, instead of a hidden cost, but some of the explanations for it them are reaching ridiculous levels of mental gymnastics, as with this "Support Local Fee"

@yobirds @BillyM2k @elonmusk I kinda knew this was going to be something like this, having worked at a school. Also, the OP is not posting the 100s of US citizens convicted for the same thing. The solution isn’t kick out all the foreigners, but extend background checks for ALL people working with kids

@Mbounge_ @PicturesFoIder To be fair, the insurance company always said it wouldn't cover people who played ball above a certain level. The guy should not have been allowed to shoot, but despite being honest on his application, the Bulls let him anyway. So it ended up being on them to pay
