@visitorsdigest@JeffMarek@PuckPedia Then they still need 2-3 Dmen then 2-3 middle 6 forwards if they move 2 of them. They just paid a 4th line winger 4 mil. They will match, but their roster construction is going to suffer
Elliotte Friedman: Re Leo Carlsson offer sheet/Flyers: Maybe [Ducks GM Pat Verbeek] calls other teams and sees what those four [1sts] can get him. But...to say you’ll match any offer and then not do it puts a cataclysmic dent in his entire life philosophy - Sportsnet (7/3)

@charlieo_conn So if the 7.4 number is true or near that, does this help flyers? Ducks still need 3 Dmen and would cutter take just 9.6 mil aav? Dumping Vatrano would get them some space but I don’t think enough. They will have like 50 mil in cap space next year though.
If this is true and always have to take what Frank says with a grain of salt, if the number is anything over 6 aav, that would be good for flyers I think
@DucksDaily93 I mean you act like Philly wouldn’t be prepared the ducks going 7 days and holding it up lol? The only thing the flyers had in the works was a drysdale extension and possible Giroux reunion. So I ask again, what are the ducks holding them up from lol?
@RonoAnalyst The worst part about the Weber one was I remember how Nashville retail stores were slashing Weber jerseys down to like 20$ so I was like oh for sure they ain’t matching if stores were already discounting his jersey. So heartbroken when they matched
