My first book was published yesterday! Keeping the Tryst is the memoir a LOT of people asked me to write. It's all here: bipolar disorder, the swindling operation, Star Wars fandom run amok, the cross-America odyssey, and so much more.

Funniest line I've heard all evening:
"Finally, payback for what Laettner did to us."
(Referring to the 1990 east regional final between Duke and UConn)

Have wound up spending the evening watching a movie I haven't seen in several years: Inception. Two things: this may be Christopher Nolan's purest film, and his best (even considering how amazing The Dark Knight is). And second, Ellen Page was a BEAUTIFUL young woman once upon a time. That she destroyed that in order to "become a man" was definitely an affront to nature.
Whilst we wait for tonight's #Svengoolie and 1953's The War of the Worlds, let's appreciate where it all began: the serialized publication of H.G. Well's original novel in 1897. Here is how the war machines were first depicted. Wells absolutely HATED this design!
@SimsYStuart@orsonscottcard Chapterhouse: Dune is one of the most DISTURBING books I have ever read. Herbert was already becoming the “dirty old man” with Heretics of Dune. With Chaoterhouse he went full tilt wacko. For God’s sake that book depicts CHILD RAPE. That can’t be excused away.
Jesse Jackson used to have a good message, about young black men pulling themselves up and making a better life. Then Jackson gave his soul to the Democratic Party and tried to be president. He sold out whatever principles he had. He caused more racial division than almost anyone. He's not a good person to be remembering well.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is trending. I actually like this movie very much. It's a terrific bridge between the first Avengers movie and the situation that begins in Captain America: Civil War. That, and Ultron got some *amazing* dialogue. Definitely a Marvel league villain.
Muslim or dog?
I choose the dog.
Dogs are cleaner anyway. Islam is a filthy ideology whose adherents eat with their bare hands and wipe their anuses with their fingers.
Dogs are absolutely preferable to humans who choose to be Muslim.
Representative Randy Fine is right.
Sven is running THE MIST on February 21st?!??!!??? Holy heck!! He’s gonna be warning the viewers about disturbing content with THAT one!!! Definitely shocked to hear about that being played. The #Svengoolie hashtag is gonna be LIT that night.
Tonight's movie on #Svengoolie is The Gorgon. I first saw this film late on Friday night, April 18, 1986 after the news. I had just turned 12.
That was almost 40 years ago. I have a REALLY good memory and sense of time and date :-)
(I thought The Gorgon was pretty good!)
I asked AI to produce an image of what Andy Kaufman would look like today, had he faked his death in 1984.
Here is what Google’s Gemini came back with:
As a former journalist (not counting the twenty-two years that I've actively maintained a blog with more than two million readers) I have to admit that I am laughing hard at Don Lemon.
His claiming to be a journalist and that he's "protected" by the First Amendment from consequences of storming into a church is ridiculous. Lemon wasn't there to cover a story. He was there to be an active participant and when he chose that, any semblance to real journalism and the integrity that is supposed to come with that evaporated. Lemon aided and abetted the aggressors when they attacked Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota almost two weeks ago and that makes him a subject of prosecution as much as anyone else involved.
Saying "I'm a reporter!" does not exonerate anyone from the ramifications of violating others right to worship God in peace, according to their conscience. The Bill of Rights - that is, the first ten amendments of the Constitution - enumerate the various rights that we the people have. It does NOT "grant" those rights, it simply states with stark clarity the rights and freedoms that all citizens already have. Yes, there is freedom of the press. But that freedom ends where the rights and freedoms of others begins.
Let's put it this way: Suppose I claim to be a journalist. And I accompany a gang of bank robbers into a savings and loan to heist the place. Do I get off the hook because I'm there to cover the story?
What Lemon and the other assailants in the Cities Church invasion did was a very serious crime. One that should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
God lets people like her endure and persist in the world. They always seem to die older than most decent people. This is not a flaw in the universe's code. God is merely being merciful to them. The wicked endure because God is giving them all the time that a person could possibly need to come running to Him. He lets them have every opportunity to turn away from evil and repent. He loves them that much. But for all their seeming luck, life is yet a vapor. There comes a point where God has done everything He can to try to persuade an evil person to come to Him. In the end, if there is to be any true fairness at all, He simply shrugs and says "Okay, thy will be done" and is through with that person.
Her time is coming. She is too close now, to a paradise of her own making.
Like George Carlin said: "It's a big club... and you ain't in it."
No wonder Ellison told Lemon that he had nothing to worry about.
This kind of corruption should be punished by horsewhipping.
NEW: Multiple sources tell me & colleague @davidspunt that the federal magistrate in Minnesota who refused to sign off on an arrest warrant for Don Lemon is Douglas L. Micko and that his wife works as an Assistant Attorney General in Minnesota AG Keith Ellison's office.
I have friends across many ideologies. Including a lot of liberals. I think of some of them as brothers and sisters. I know they wouldn't dare hurt me.
But now I'm reading of liberal healthcare workers including delivery nurses wishing harm in childbirth for White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. And at long last I am positively aghast at what liberalism in America has become.
It's enough to make me fear turning my back toward any liberal who I don't personally know. These people already tried to kill Donald Trump, they assassinated Charlie Kirk. They are known to assault people they've never even met just because those people are wearing a red cap or carrying a pro-life sign.
Why should I feel safe around these kinds of men and women (or whatever gender they claim to be)? There is no reasoning with them. There is nothing that they understand apart from brute force used against them and God forgive me for believing that we are truly coming to that, because all else has failed to dissuade them from their madness.
These are not normal people. They are completely unhinged at best and at worst they are thoroughly evil.
Our country will not survive if these people ever come to have more power.
