I couldn't use a $100 bill to pay for $20 parking in the STL City Hall lot for a Blues game recently because "the city has accepted too many counterfeit $100s and will only accept $20s." Major low-trust red flag.
Looking forward to Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2023 on Jan. 11.

@stlrainbow @Jonssonville @Kirkwood_Gadfly I got to go to the top of that silo once about 5-6 years ago. Craziest "elevator" ever, wild ride. Was working on a concept to convert to hotel and apartments. The silos cost more to tear down than it would cost to buy them. They will be there for a long time.
The great financial crisis gave me a 20% pay cut and a 4-day work week. I couldn’t afford to go out for fun but had a lot of time to work out. Got down to 183#.
So basically my best routine was being bored and broke.
@Kirkwood_Gadfly@WebsterGrovesMO The other architects and developers I talk to all say the same thing: "You won't get it done in Webster."
Will be interesting to see what's proposed at the United Church of Christ site on Lockwood. Anything less than 44 housing units will be a missed opportunity.
I want to see the @WebsterGrovesMO development tracker!!! Show me the all the "organic development" that was supposed to happen after we shot down Douglas Hill...
They keep everything up to date while consistently adding new features. Really very impressive for a local government. Props to everyone involved.

Here's the city's up-to-date development tracker:
@FuckCarsReddit@nickjomu Because those houses and everything else is on a tall river bluff and the development is down below in a levee protected flood plain. Also dumb, but a reason for terrible walkability.
The first time I was placed on academic probation was 3rd year spring mid-semester by a professor who didn’t think I was spending enough time in studio “outside of class hours” for a studio that met 18 hours a week.
