Absolutely fantastic to see the Universities Minister stepping up and stating that NDAs should not be used for cases of Sexual Harassment within UK Universities 👏🏻👏🏻 progress 👏🏻👏🏻
Victims of sexual harassment must be protected and supported. I had written to all higher education providers making clear that the use of NDAs in sexual harassment cases is wholly inappropriate & hiding workplace harassment or withholding details of complaints is unacceptable.
CW: mentions of sexual violence
Ever wanted to know a bit more about victim blaming? Here is a quick run down: Part 1 ⬇️⬇️

Thank you so much @yorkunisu for Campaign of the Year! Ft. Imogen Horrocks joining via video call.

TW: After only being founded in November, hopefully this is just one celebration of many for this still growing campaign. The campaign carries out incredibly important work to address sexual assault and violence at Universities
CW: rape
These photos were taken abt 5 mins apart, the institution moves fast to cover up their students talking about being assaulted. As a someone who's been sexually assaulted on two separate times on campus this stings.
The fact it took 5 minutes to respond by draping something to cover up the message, when there are serious problems with the uni's handling of sexual violence, speaks volumes. Shame.

“Outlining the problems at York is not enough and it isn’t a proactive narrative, a proactive narrative is providing recommendations to address the problems at hand, which is what we have done in this report.” https://t.co/RkTrlEBxVk
