@MattChorley I'm not sure that "pure cold rage" is a better alternative to "white cold rage". Cold rage is deadly, concealed anger underneath a placid exterior, organised and determined. What's wrong with just plain hot rage?
@cjhmode@typesfaster Using your numbers, I make it one in one hundred and twenty-eight are victims of phone theft each year. That is a little less than one percent.
@TabithaS83891@jfoster2019@NicholasLissack@GhorbaniiNiyak@metpoliceuk I was thinking about the Mandelson appointment. Really, though I think there are dangers in an "appointed" Lords. Either elected or hereditary would be better. As it is, any secretive confederacy could work out of sight.
In eBay Transactions>Postage Labels I can only see four and these are from late January to mid February. Nightmare. Is the site being maintained or are they leaving it all to AI?
@MarkJames187611@BBCPolitics She's condemning herself! Public officials in possession of alarming information should pass it up the line quickly. All this sitting on hands and chewing the cud!
@BBCPolitics She sits on information about a possible security risk for three weeks! If she smelt smoke, how long would she take to phone the fire brigade?
@MoggMy@afneil True, but the PMs statements don't make sense even with the little we know. Has he sacked the people who over-ruled a serious security warning? Are they still in place, working their clandestine harm?
@therealmissjo@afneil Because it is sub judice, there is a lot about the Mandleson case we don't know and therefore do not know how serious it is. It has been revealed he had allies promoting his appointment against security advice.
