I built a leaderboard where rank is just the number you paid.
Listings start at $1. Passing the row above costs $1 more than it paid. The top spot is currently held at $2 - so $3 buys #1 today.
Either terrible or the most honest form of distribution.

Someone shipped an invoicing tool today whose real feature is billing in 150+ currencies.
Boring category, and that's the advantage - nobody needs educating on what invoicing is. The only question left is "does it handle mine."
Underrated place to launch.
@adityadotdev Mine's https://t.co/nN7llhoiaX. Honest answer to your question: 3 listings, $2 top score, day one - so, nothing yet. The clone wave is real. The only thing that will separate them is whether the rank means anything beyond who paid last.
@rdbuilds7 https://t.co/nN7llhoiaX - same $1 pay-to-rank base, but the board splits into 40+ categories and 234 country leaderboards, so a product can hold a market without ever topping the global list. Free votes and shares also move rank, capped at 3 each.
@samongaro_ The margin isn't what breaks first - it's the telemetry. A lot of AI SaaS pricing, retention work and roadmaps run on seeing every call. Local execution ends that visibility, and some companies will find out they were selling the dashboard, not the model.
@huno_webdev@readyDeveloper@DevCommunityOrg@ThePracticalDev@BelieveInSaaS "Simple invoicing platform" is doing you no favours - every invoicing tool says that. 150+ currencies is the line. Plenty of freelancers are billing clients in a currency their current tool mangles, and that's a problem people actually search for.
Most launch posts open with "I just launched..." and only get to what the thing actually does on line four.
The launch is the least interesting fact in the tweet. Nobody's happy for you yet - they don't know you.
Lead with the job it does. Mention that you built it at the end.
