great thread. this is what I mean when I say "modern football" has come for the Sounders. it's not one particular thing, but rather a series of actions that culminate in the increased commercialization of our club at the cost of our role as supporters
@SNDRNVIA I haven't been around that long, so my opinion is def a small snap shot. But in the stadium I genuinely can't tell the drop in numbers, like the few thousands less is so difficult for me to discern standing where i do. I wonder how it will feel if it keeps falling though?
@SNDRNVIA There has def been in and outside stadium responses to bans for sure. I think a lot of stuff is just happening on the ground and not making it to the internet. It would be pretty cool to see more of the ECS membership base doing stuff in stadium or taking things on themselves.
BREAKING: Workers at the 5th and Pike Starbucks in downtown Seattle have just walked out on STRIKE.
@pax crowds and dangerous understaffing have lead to unsafe conditions in the store that these brave partners refuse to tolerate anymore!

The smoke is so bad at my prison from the wild fires across the state that when I blow my nose it’s black. I can’t imagine what’s it’s like for the thousands of people incarcerated at the prisons right near the fire. You can’t disentangle climate justice and mass incarceration.
Honestly, they should refuse to play in these conditions. They are athletes but also workers and this is for sure a moment where a player strike would be warranted. Damaging your health is not worth it.
Cant believe I’ve never heard about how the US government plants cyanide bombs all around the west in order to kill wildlife. The ranching industry is so, so evil.
