@ljs19875 @dave_cameron Would also love to see this. Metafields in general should be configurable to be indexed within storefront search.

@dave_cameron Correct - for data structures that are dynamic and don’t have a standard preset of key value pairs.

A table field type would partially solve this for more simple structures, so that would be a good start.
