it actually does make them less of an athlete as it is a league down from the nhl. if nhl players didn’t consider it a lesser league they wouldn’t work as hard to stay/go back up.

since the ahl is being discussed i just want to remind everyone that it’s also a professional league! and its perfectly normal for players to be sent back and forth from nhl/ahl+ even echl. that doesnt make them any less of a professional athlete, we should be celebrating the ahl
