🚨💣 BREAKING: Youri Tielemans to Manchester United, HERE WE GO! 🔴🇧🇪
United activate €41m release clause into Tielemans’ contract at Aston Villa, verbal agreement also with Belgian midfielder.
Andrey Santos done + Tielemans next after Éderson deal called off on Friday. 📈
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected that Nigeria's economy will grow by 4.1% in 2026, rising further to 4.3% in 2027, supported by improved macroeconomic stability and favourable terms of trade.
Some rapid fire thoughts on Andrey Santos to Manchester United:
- I like him a ton because he does the dirty work to let other midfielders shine
- he was a goal scoring midfielder at RCSA, which I'm not sure how that translates to the PL since 6/10 goals and 18/46 shots in his full Ligue 1 season came from set pieces, but its definitely better to have it than not, even if Utd might not use it fully (Chelsea certainly didn't)
- he "stabilizes": very accurate going forwards, doesn't turn it over often, generates a ton of turnovers from the opposition; on par w/ Felix Nmecha and Joao Neves for u23 seasons at the top thresholds for combined final third entry and defensive duel success rates
- the "versatility" bit I've seen thrown around makes sense I think in the context that he played further forward and as a no. 6 for RCSA, but I think he's best suited as a no. 6
- doesn't cover ground insanely well... when he's in a duel he's outstanding, but he doesn't get to as many as I think would be ideal for double pivot in a transition oriented side; seems Utd still want another, and a high intensity runner like Ederson or Baleba balances this "deficiency"
- generally my favorite of the big PL midfield deals simply on a cost to player quality basis... Santos for 50m > Anderson for 116m > Fernandes for 85m > Tonali for 92m (or whatever the actual amounts were)
Full video breakdown in the post I'm quoting 😁
Mateus Fernandes and Andrey Santos are two players I’ve known long before their arrivals in England (see both screenshots).
Two players with different profiles, but both very talented.
If I had to choose one for us, I’d definitely go with Santos because he suits us better.
I understand why we went for Fernandes first- he had the chance to play regularly last season, but I’m more than happy we ended up with Santos.
The wait is over.
We have 2 golds: Chimdiebube Onwubiko and Don Anele Munachimso.
We are the best in the world!
Egejurum Onyedikachi’s name was omitted. He should have a gold.

People don’t care about the facts anymore, let’s just run agenda.
This is not even an opinionated reaction, there was no foul at all.
