And any such declarations are at their core simply that--illegitimate.

@elepharchy @GoganImperium Calling it "deprogramming" doesn't really help to strengthen your argument, in our opinion. If anything, it sounds as though you're trying to "indoctrinate" them into your ways, which doesn't exactly concur with the ideals all egalitarian societies hold close.
