This right wing rag either intentionally mislead the findings, or simply cannot comprehend what they are reporting. In either event, it’s highly concerning.

No where in the paper does it say illegal immigration caused a 30% increase in home prices or 20% of rent prices.

It says that of the increase, 30%/20% is attributed to illegal immigration.

For example, rent prices increased by 15% from 2021-2024. 20% of that 15% was caused by illegal immigration.

15 x 0.20 =3%

3% was caused by illegal immigration, not 20%.

Rep. Joaquin Castro said it plainly: it was a reckless decision that put troops in harm's way and undermined military readiness. The Pentagon's own actions confirmed that assessment.
